Born and raised in Oakland, California, Dominique Mouton's passion for storytelling was sparked by the diverse and vibrant Bay Area community. Her love for the unconventional have led her to explore and create stories that challenge the status quo.
As the the creator, writer and producer of the audio drama THE LOWER BOTTOMS (2020-2022), Dominique has established herself as a multi-hyphenate artist. The series is produced in partnership with Will Packer Media and iHeart Media and brings together an impressive lineup of talent, including Kelsey Grammar, Debbie Allen, Theo Rossi, Amber Riley and many others.
Dominique joined forces with director and fellow Oakland native, Joslyn Rose Lyons to bring the award-winning short film BUTTERFLY BOXING (2023) to life. Starring Hill Harper and J. Alphonse Nicholson, the film showcases Dominique's ability to collaborate with talent and produce memorable, impactful stories.
